Balduzzi has 3 estates located in the Maule Valley, the most important wine producing region in Chile.
The vineyards are planted in sandy ground free of philoxera. The pure water of the Andes Mountains, the Mediterranean weather with rainfalls during winter and dry-long summer with wide range of temperature between day and night of up to 25°C (77°F) helps to produce our fine grapes with high concentration and exceptional aromatic character.

The vineyards are managed as espalier with orientation north-south to get the maximum sunshine and natural ventilation. The average yield is under 10 tons per hectare.
The grapes are selected and hand picked in small cases of 14 kilos and then transported to the winery, avoiding premature oxidation and fermentation.
